Be there when someone searches for what you do.
The technical setup, the pages that answer real searches, and the local work that puts you in the map results.
Search work splits into three parts. The site has to be readable by a search engine, there have to be pages that answer what people actually type, and your business has to exist properly in the places Google trusts.
The first part is in every build here at no extra cost. The other two are ongoing work, and they're where most of the difference gets made.
The ranking factor you can actually move this month.
Count, recency, and what the reviews say all feed local ranking. Getting them asked for properly, every time a job closes, is worth more than most on-page work and it compounds.
What search work involves.
Technical setup
Titles, structured data, sitemaps, speed, and a site a search engine can read without guessing. Part of the build.
Pages that answer searches
Real pages for the things people type, written to be the best answer rather than padded to a word count.
Google Business Profile
Categories, service areas, services and photos set up properly. For anyone searching a service near them, the map sits above everything else.
Reviews that carry keywords
Review count, recency, and what the reviews say all feed local ranking. Getting them asked for properly is worth more than most on-page work.
Being cited elsewhere
Getting listed and linked where it counts, and knowing which directories are worth the time and which pass nothing at all.
What actually moved
Reporting from Search Console on what you rank for and what people clicked, so the next month's work comes from data instead of a guess.
Search questions.
Is SEO included in the build?
The technical foundation is, in every build. Ongoing work is separate, because it's a monthly effort rather than something that finishes when the site launches.
How long before I see results?
Local map results can move within weeks. Competitive search terms take months, and nothing legitimate shortens that.
Do I need SEO if I have a Google Business Profile?
The profile is often the highest-leverage thing to fix first, and if yours is incomplete that's where to start. It works better when a real website backs it up, since Google cross-checks the two.
Can you guarantee a ranking?
No, and nobody can. What can be committed to is the work: the setup, the pages, the profile, and reporting on what changed.
