Spartan Atlas is a web design and web development company in Toronto. Website design, website development, hosting, and the search setup that gets you found, all in one build: the layout, the words, and the code that makes it fast, secure, and able to take bookings and payments.
You get a free, interactive preview of your new site before you commit to anything, a clear all-in quote within 2 days, and a site that is live in two weeks. Most clients are in the GTA and across North America, and I work with businesses anywhere.
A site built around your business.
Every build starts from a blank page. The layout, the words, and the code are all drawn around what you sell and who you sell it to.
Designed from scratch
The layout, type, and colour are drawn around your business and the customers you want. Two builds never come out looking alike.
Written for you
The words are part of the build. Headlines, service pages, and the answers customers actually ask for, written to sell what you do.
Built as code
Real web development. That is why it loads in under a second, and why there is no plugin stack sitting under it waiting to break.
Stores, bookings, payments
Sell products, take appointments, collect deposits. The site can do the work that currently happens on the phone.
Accessible by default
Readable contrast, keyboard navigation, and proper labelling are part of the build, so the site works for everyone who lands on it.
Yours to keep
You get the code, on a domain and hosting in your name. Nothing to unlock, no licence to keep paying, and it moves with you.
Two weeks, and you see it before you commit to anything.
You see a demo first
I build a real, clickable version of your site and send you the link. Nothing is owed at this point and there is nothing to cancel if you walk away.
An all-in quote
Within 2 days you get one number covering the whole build, with what is in it written down. Half books the work, half is due when the site goes live.
The full build
Every page, the words, your photos, the forms, and the search setup. You review it as it comes together and tell me what to change.
Launch
Your domain is connected, the site goes live, and you are found on Google and in AI answers. Two weeks from the go-ahead.
Most sites cost between $2,100 and $10,000, quoted per project once I know what you need. At $2,100 you get at least ten pages.
There is no monthly fee to have the site. Hosting and looking after it can be set up in accounts you own and pay for directly, or managed for you on a care plan. See what goes into a quote.
About the build itself.
What is the difference between web design and web development?
Design is how the site looks and reads: layout, type, colour, photography, and the words. Development is what makes it work: the code, the forms, the store, the speed, and the hosting it runs on. Both are part of the same build here, so the design decisions and the code decisions get made together.
Do you build on WordPress?
No. Sites here are built as code, which is what keeps them loading in under a second, with no plugins to keep updated and no admin login to be broken into. If you are on WordPress now, I can move you off it and keep your pages, your content, and the URLs your search rankings sit on.
Can you build an online store?
Yes. Product pages, cart, checkout, shipping, and tax, connected to a payment processor so money lands in your account. If you only need to sell a handful of things, that can be simpler and cheaper than a full store, and worth saying on the call.
Do you build on Shopify?
Yes. Store builds, custom theme work, speed fixes on a store that has got slow, and migrations from WooCommerce, Wix, Squarespace, or BigCommerce with the old URLs redirected so your search traffic carries over. Whether Shopify or a store built into your own site suits you better comes down to what you sell and how much of it, and both are built here.
Can the site take bookings and payments?
Yes. Appointment booking, deposits, and recurring payments can all run on the site, so a customer books and pays without you answering the phone.
Do I own the site when it is finished?
Yes. You get the code and the site runs on a domain and hosting in your name. There is no licence to keep paying and nothing to unlock. If you ever want to move it or hand it to someone else, it goes with you.
What do you need from me to get started?
Less than most people expect. Your business name, what you do, and a way to reach you is enough to build the first demo. Photos, a logo, service details, and prices make it better, and anything you do not have yet gets a labelled slot rather than a gap.
