How is this priced?
Per project, after a conversation about what it has to do. Custom software varies far more than a website does, so a number before that conversation would be a guess dressed up as a quote.
Can you work on software I already have?
Often, yes, if the code is somewhere I can get to it. Let me look before either of us assumes it needs replacing, because inheriting something that mostly works is usually cheaper than starting again.
What happens if I need changes later?
You have the code, so you're not stuck with me. If you would rather I kept looking after it, that runs the same way the care plans do.
How long does it take?
Longer than two weeks. Websites have a known shape and custom software doesn't, so the timeline comes out of scoping rather than a standard turnaround.
