How is the price determined?
It depends on how big the site is and what it has to do. An online store, online booking, accepting payments, custom software, a photo or video shoot, a page for each location or a second language all add to it.
What do I get before I pay anything?
At least three design options to choose from, so you can see them before you commit. If you decide against it, no hard feelings.
Do the prices include tax?
No, prices are before tax.
How do payments work?
Half to book the build and half when the site goes live.
Is a care plan required?
No. The site is yours outright and it'll keep running without one. The plans are for owners who'd rather send us a change than log in and make it, and who'd rather not think about hosting, backups and updates at all.
What if I need a change later and I'm not on the care plan?
Send it over and we'll tell you what it costs first.
What counts as a content edit on a care plan?
Text, hours, pricing, photos, and swapping out what's already there. Brand-new pages, a redesign, or a photo shoot are their own projects, and they're quoted before any work starts.
Who pays for hosting and the domain?
Setting up hosting, SSL and your domain is part of the build. Ongoing hosting is covered by any care plan. If you'd rather skip the plans, we'll set everything up in accounts that belong to you, so you pay those running costs directly.
Is it cheaper if I already have a website?
Sometimes, though less often than people expect. Copy and photography you already have will save time. An existing site built on a page builder usually doesn't, because rebuilding properly is faster than untangling it. Send us the address and we'll tell you honestly which one yours is.
